Our Oregon Coast Vacation Retreat is located near Sunset Bay State Park, close to the fishing village of Charleston, which is about 10 miles from Coos Bay, Oregon. It is a two story home with a deck on the second level that has a nice view of the ocean, and a second deck that overlooks a large backyard, which backs up to the Oregon State Park. Deer can frequently be seen grazing in the backyard.
There is an ocean view from the upstairs living room, dining room and kitchen, with almost 40 feet of picture windows facing the ocean. The home is fully furnished, with queen size beds in all bedrooms, and a hide-a-bed in the living room. The fully-furnished modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. There is a fireplace in the downstairs family room. You are welcome to use our crab rings to catch dungeness crabs off the piers in Charleston, or in the Bay or Ocean if you bring a boat.

Our home is located close to Sunset Bay State Park, Shore Acres State Park, Bastendorff Beach County Park, Cape Arago State Park, Charleston Marina, Simpson Park, Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Sunset Bay Golf Course, and the Mill Casino in Coos Bay. There are three world class golf courses within 20 miles (Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes, and Pacific Trails). All three courses are rated as being in the top 10 golf courses in the country by Golf Digest.

Rates

Our summer rate is $1,195 per week (Sunday to Sunday from June to September). We offer a special weekly rate of $995 from October to May and a special monthly rate of $1,250 plus utilities or $1,500 including utilities from October to April. An advance deposit of $300 is required to hold all reservations. No pets are allowed.

Cancellation Policy for Oceanfront House with Views, Fireplace:
A cancellation fee of 15% of total rental will be charged for reservations cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival date.
No refunds will be made on reservations cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival date.
Deposit Required for Oceanfront House with Views, Fireplace:
A $300 security/cleaning deposit must be paid at the time of making the reservation. It will be refunded within 14 days after departure, less damage, breakage or any extraordinary cleaning charges. It is expected that the renter will leave the house clean and ready for the next renter.

This vacation rental was a great choice for us. There were 2 families with 2 adults and 2 children in each party. The beach house was VERY clean and was on a nice, secluded lot with woods surrounding the property. There was not direct access to the beach that was across the street, but it was still an excellent beach house with ocean views!

The first thing you notice when you come to this home is the location. You are very close to lots of activites and beaches and not too far from the little stores in Charleston. There is even a nature trail in the back yard that connects you to the state park. We picked a big bolete off the trail and cooked it up with a seafood stew. The home was well appointed with all the things you need for a stay at the coast including crab pots and a cooker to boil up the catch. The bedrooms were very comfortable and everyone had lots of room. The kitchen is newly remodeled and very nice to work in. The view was great. All in all it was a wonderful trip and I would definitely stay at this house again.
