TIRED
OF THE CHAOS OF THE HIGH RISE ALL INCLUSIVES? LOOKING TO
RELAX AND UNDWIND IN YOUR VERY OWN VILLA ON THE OCEAN? The
secret is out........
Located about 25 miniutes from the international airport
of Zihuatanejo/Ixtpa, (airport code ZIH) awaits the village
that those in the know are whispering about.....everyone
wants this location to be kept a secret!
Troncones is a 3 mile stretch of pristine beach, with rental
villas, bungalows and private homes sandwiched between the
beach and the Sierra Madre Mountians. Long known to surfers
as a world class surf destination, only in the last few
years have families and friends discovered the ultimate
vacation spot. It is really amazing if you have ever been
to a “resort” beach during the holidays and
not been able to see the ocean for the maze of people. It
is never like that on our beach… even a small crowd
is unususal! It’s perfect for beachcombing, boogie-boarding,
horseback riding, tidal pool exploration, and, is well known
to the surfing community. The beaches are never crowded,
even in our high season.
Troncones boast about 300 Mexican families living in harmony
with almost the same number of
American, European and Canadian landowners. Pigs and burros
share the main street with the
smiling school children walking to school in their pristine
uniforms. It is a family community.
Everyone, including our visitors, are always invited and
welcomed at the frequent activities held in the village
soccer field. Weddings, Quinceneras (a girl's 15th birthday),
fundraisers ....always great fun. They usually start late
(10:00 ish) and have games, raffles, music, dances and great
local food.
Scattered thoughout the village, are many great restaurants
and beach bars. We even have
two local restaurants owned by graduates of American Culinary
Academies. Take a sunset
horseback ride on the beach and stop in one of them for
a Margarita!
Wildlife abounds in our village. Sea turtles lay eggs in
our soft, warm sand on moonlit evenings,
pelicans in their never ending quest for the next fish meal,
dolphins and whales playaing in your front yard, the Pacific
ocean.
It's a Mexico most have never experienced, and one that
will ring you back time and again.
