The historic castle is situated in the heart of Austria 1 hour west of Vienna and 2 hours east of Salzburg, overlooking the Danube Valley to the North and the Alps to the south. It is only 15 Minutes from the Motorway. The Castle has been the family seat of the Counts of Auersperg since 1656 and still maintains its original charme. The magnificent drawing rooms as well as the bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture.
You can book the whole Castle for your special private Party. We specialise in celebrations and corporate entertaining, Golf tournaments and medieval banquets...(The Castle is surrounded by 27 holes Golf). One night including breakfast for up to 48 people is 2.500 Euros.
Most of our bedrooms have twin beds and their private bathrooms. 2 bedrooms have showers and then there are 5 appartements consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom each.
There are about 4 drawing rooms, a bar a banquetting hall a large courtyard with archades and renaissance frescos, the Castle park, terrace, private swimming area on the stream directly below the castle.
