The Look-Out is located on the side of a hill in a grove of Cabbage Palms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views are spectacular. The home is brand new (completed in mid 2002) and features ceramic tile floors through out, vaulted cypress wood ceilings, ceiling fans in every room and views of the Atlantic from every room (except the bath). The home is on a good road but quite private. Home can be rented with or without a car. (Listed rate is without car.) Rate includes transportation to and from the airport (GHB or ELH) or the dock (Governors or North Eleuthera).



The villa is perched just off the crest of the island on the side of a hill and has been designed to take advantage of the tremendous views this site offers. There is a large patio facing the ocean that is ideal for looking out to sea. From this vantage point there is an unobstructed 180 degree view of the Atlantic. On the horizon you can see Harbor Island to the northwest and James Point to the southeast. Waves can be seen breaking on reefs offshore, the sound of the surf breaking on the cliffs can be heard in the distance.

The living room and second bedroom open directly onto the oceanside patio through sliding glass doors and there are large, ocean facing awning windows in the master bedroom and dining area. There is also a smaller, palm tree shaded patio on the backside of the house - ideal for quiet lounging or reading.

This 1100 sq ft. villa is tastefully decorated in a casual and comfortable Caribbean style. There are ceramic tile floors, wooden valuted ceilings and ceiling fans throughout.
