Rocky Mountain Escape offers private, secluded log cabin accommodation and a variety of year-round, nature-oriented activities. The 'Escape cabins are located adjacent to Jasper National Park and vast, undeveloped Willmore Wilderness. Guided activities include hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. We cater to folks looking for a quiet, scenic, non-touristy spot from which to enjoy our mountain environment.
Rocky Mountain Escape currently has three guest cabins on the ground, each hand-crafted log, 480 sq ft with an open design (only the bathroom is enclosed), and visually isolated in order to enhance guest privacy. Each cabin is equipped with a queen-sized bed, sofa (1 cabin) or double fold-down futon (2 cabins), rocker chair, a wood burning stove, a full bath (tub/shower unit with hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing) and double propane burner for complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We provide all bedding and linen, and kindling and firewood is stacked on the cabin deck for use in the stove. Meals are provided in a central cook house.

The Rocky Mountain Escape cabins are located 70 km northwest of Hinton, Alberta, in the midst of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies and adjacent to Jasper National Park and vast, undeveloped Willmore Wilderness. The cabins sit at an elevation of 5000 ft, with the Hoff Range to our immediate east, Willmore mountains to our north and Moosehorn Mountains to our south at well over 7000 ft. Nearby Rock Lake, 7 km from the 'Escape cabins, contains 5 species of trout for fishing.

Peak Season (June 1 – September 30):
$125 per adult per night. Children 6 – 16 are half price; children 5 and under are no charge. Guests are not charged for overnight rate when out on an overnight excursion. Price includes private cabin accommodation, double occupancy, guided day hikes, transportation to and from trailheads and all meals
Off Peak Season (October 1 to May 31):
$100 per adult per night. Children 6 – 16 are half price; children 5 and under are no charge. Guests are not charged for overnight rate when out on an overnight excursion. Price includes private cabin accommodation, double occupancy, use of the Escape's cross-country skis and/or snowshoes, transportation to and from trailheads and all meals

Cancellation Policy for Log Cabin with Mountain Views:
If guests must cancel prior to 30 days before arrival, any deposit received by Rocky Mountain Escape will be fully refundable, less a $50 administration fee. If guests must cancel within 30 days of arrival, the 'Escape reserves the right to keep the full deposit (50% of the package price). If guests cancel within 48 hours of arrival, the full package price applies.

Reservations are confirmed with either a 50% deposit or a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) number. No charges appear against the guest's credit card, unless there is a cancellation, prior to guest arrival at Rocky Mountain Escape.
