The home is very private and serene, surrounded by a lake and birch trees. Water recreation includes sailing, kayaking, swimming, fishing and scuba diving. Little Lake Mush A Mush has a water depth of up to 50 feet and has fresh water fish . There is a motor size limit of 5 hp. A boat can be rented from an outside vendor (includes life jackets). Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and hunting.
This Executive Tourist Home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and it accommodates 1 to 6 people very comfortably. The house has heat (electric or wood),deck, balcony, washer/dryer, CD/DVD/VHS, CBTV and VCR/DVD, telephone and internet. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. The living room overlooks the lake with cathedral windows and leads onto surrounding balcony, with patio furniture and BBQ. The master bedroom is upstairs with a walk in closet, private full bath and antique queen 180 year old four poster bed and lounging area. The second bedroom has a full bath and offers twin beds. A play room has a queen sized bed, with games, a table for six people. The home is one hour from Halifax International Airport and 10 to 15 minutes to Mahone Bay, Chester, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. It is 4 to 6 hours to New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island. Close by are fine museums, fine restaurants, shopping and all the local attractions: theatre, birdwatching, whale watching, festivals and antique shows.
