Deep-sea Fishing
With our sportfishing roots, we have the luxury of working with only the best boats, highest-quality equipment and most experienced captains. Our waters teem with marlin, yellowfin and big-eye tuna, dorado (mahi mahi) and, of course, record-breaking sailfish. Whether you’re a deep-sea veteran or out to catch your first billfish, this is top-notch excitement.
Diving
According to Lonely Planet, Playa del Coco has “the best scuba diving in Costa Rica.” It’s true; few destinations boast more marine animals and variety of species than the Gulf of Papagayo off northern Playa del Coco . And the marine life here is BIG, with giant leatherbacks and bull sharks both weighing in at up to two tons, for starters. Huge schools of fish give divers a chance to glide into “walls” of fish, including large pelagics.
