The Ravensworth was originally a charming private residence dating from the 19th century, and is now a traditional Lakeland stone built guesthouse offering guests an accommodation environment with true character and luxury touches. Many original features have been retained, with the addition of a fine conservatory breakfast room. We're conveniently located on the edge of Windermere village, and have easy access to the many attractions of the Lake District National Park. All rooms are non-smoking. There is private parking front and rear of the guest house.
We have fourteen beds which include single, double, twin-bedded, super king-size and four-poster beds. All the rooms are en-suite and include bath with a shower over it. Every room has a television, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and clock radio with alarm.<br>We have superior four-poster rooms which include extras such as bath robes, dvd player and filter coffee machine.<br>Two of our rooms are on the lower ground floor and have their own private patio.<br>There is a residents lounge and sun terrace.

It is a fifteen minute walk to Lake Windermere and twenty minutes to Bowness-on-Windermere where one can take a lake cruise.<br>The home of Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth are a short car ride away.<br>There are various beautiful walks directly from the guest house either down to the lake or up into the hills.
