Set on the southern edge of the Bergerac wine-growing region of the Dordogne, La Barthe is an exclusive development of three luxury cottages, lovingly created from two large centuries-old barns and a farmer's cottage which until 1995 was a working farm. Each cottage contains many of the original features such as oak beams, stone walls, and niches. They are grouped around a central courtyard bordered on one side by walnut trees and set in 23 acres of wood and meadowland.
The large walled pool area shared by all the guests and the family enjoys full sun all day, and is surrounded by an extensive paved terrace, on which are sun-loungers for every guest (no dashing out first thing in the morning to reserve your place). The smaller children's pool and games area is situated well away from the main heated pool where children can play in safety. The whole area, including the swimming pool, can be floodlit in the evenings to create a pleasant atmosphere where guests can socialise. We feel sure all our guests will appreciate and enjoy the wonderful serene atmosphere at this unique location.

Accommodation: On two floors (7 persons) 4 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 single, 1 room with bunks), 2 shower rooms.

2nd. July - 26th. August (High): £890.00
4th. June - 1st. July & 27th. August - 9th. September (Mid): £630.00
23rd. April - 3rd. June (Low): £510.00
10th. September 2004 - 22nd. April 2005 (Economy): £390.00

Cancellation Policy:
0 - 28 days inclusive before departure 100% of the total letting cost
(Security deposit to be returned)
Property Rental Deposit Required:
A deposit of 25% of the total cost shall be paid if the booking is made more than 5 weeks prior to the intended starting date of letting and such sum shall accompany the booking application. The balance of the letting cost shall be paid not later than 8 weeks before the starting date of the letting.
A security deposit for breakages, telephone of 15% of the total letting cost or £100.00 or whichever is the greater, shall accompany the final payment which sum shall be held by the owners until the end of the letting and from which the owners shall be at liberty to deduct such sums as may be incurred by the owners in respect of any damage occasioned to the property, it's contents or the swimming pool and/or telephone charges on the part of the client or any of his/her party or guests. Such deposit is payable without prejudice to the right to make a claim in respect of any damage occasioned to the property or it's contents by reason of any act or default on the part of the client his/her party or guests amounting to any sum greater than 15% of the total letting cost.
