"Le fougeau " is a restored chartreuse from the 18th century.
4 vacation house on a domain of 4ha. Very peacefull, swimmingpool. 20 km from Périgueux, the capital of the department "Dordogne"
Our domain is situated on the territory of 2 municipals and three "lieu dits", with as head building our Chartreuse "Le Fougeau" (17 persons).
This house from the 18th century can be rented as one, or divided in two " Chartreuse" (12 persons) and "Tournesol" (5 persons).
On the adjacent terrain are two more houses, each for 6 persons: "Chassin" en "Préau".
Child-pleasantness is one of our highest priorities: a pleasant holiday for the children involves a relaxing stay for the parents. The fenced area of 2ha provides a sand barge, swing, playing field and a forest in which can be played as much as you wish. The swimming pool's edges raise about 40 cm above the water, which raises the security considerably. A depth of 1,1m stimulates the recreational value of a swimming pool without limiting the possibilities to play.
Security and rest are our main objectives.

In the close surroundings you can play tennis, golf, drive horse-back or float on a canoe. They are also excellent for bike trips (can be hired nearby).
To the edge of "la forêt de la double" "Le Fougeau" offers the ideal base to pass some wonderful holidays. Thanks to the exceptional position on the south slope of the valley of the river "l'Isle" you can enjoy the sun and a cool dive in the swimming pool from early Spring until Autumn.
You can enjoy a nice diner in the 500 year old streets of Périgueux or in one of the local restaurants.
