The Sarlat apartment is new and its located on the ground floor of the owner's house. There is a private large shady terrace equiped with outdoor furniture, table and chairs where you will enjoy your meals or relax. The recently refurbished apartment is bright and colourful. The modern furniture and equipment will offer you all the comfort you need for your holiday. The spacious living room and fully equiped kitchen lead directly onto the terrace. The bedroom comprises a double bed, a wardrobe and a bunk bed. Its ideal for a couple with 2 children. A sofabed is available for an extra person if needed in the living room. The bathroom is equiped with a body jets shower, toilet and washbasin. The spacious garden and the swimming pool you will have to share with the owners are a wonderful place to relax after a busy day visiting Sarlat.
The Sarlat apartment is within a few minuts walking distance to the historical center of Sarlat. Sarlat is probably the most beautiful medieval towns of France and certainly the most visited one. It boasts spectacular medieval and renaissance architecture. A full day is necessary to visit all the monuments, to admire all the magnificent houses built in the typical "golden" stones of the region, and to stroll through the labyrinth of alleys. It is a real journey to the past. Sarlat is also very interesting for all its cultural activities, festivals, street exhibitions each night during summer. Sarlat is very well known as well for its regional cuisine and typical food markets. Don't forget to try the local products (foie gras, duck magrets, truffles, strawberries, cheeses, wines and liquors in one of the many restaurants of the old town.

Sarlat is a very good starting point to visit the beautiful Dordogne region. If you like visiting prehistoric caves, you will not have the time to visit them all, but don't miss the famous Lascaux cave for its prehistorical paintings, along with Proumeyssac, Rouffignac... If you are more interested in castles and fortified villages, you should not miss Beynac, la Roque Gageac, Castelnaud, Montpazier...If you just want to see magnificent villages, stumming landscapes and beautiful gardens, that's the right place. The Dordogne area is well known for hosting the most beautiful villages of France. For activities, you have the choice of canoeing on the Dordogne or Vezere rivers that will enable you to see castles, villages and amazing landscapes. It will also be the opportunity to stop on a beach for a swim or a picnic. Cycling, hiking are also very popular. You can play tennis in Sarlat and within a few kilometers, play golf, go horse riding or even try hot air balooning Children will love the theme parcs (tree climbing, aquaparc, prehistorical villages...).
