Sleep in volcans ! A superb and independant B and B named "le Cantou" direct on garden and pool, just in Auvergne Volcanus; Accomodation are like good old time

Independent with its garden protected by its stone low walls from lava, it is the oldest dependence of the family house. The door of entry of lime pit foot, near to the shelter-car faces the swimming pool. a bench and a show of garden make it possible to admire the very close chain of the volcanos comfortably. <br><br><br><br>This old room of farm, comprises a corner with living, a corner to sleep and a water room, the lights benefit from the openings in full south to lick the woodworks and to illuminate the equipment of the old stones. The hanging harmonies protégent read-closed and its couette thick like formerly, another bed vis-a-vis the large chimney supplements the corner show. In withdrawal the large cupboard auvergnate shelters a mini-bar. One appreciates it by sharing a deep armchair and the turntable in front of the window. <br><br>A cantou in the volcanos. Gardette is a calm and quiet village, drawn up on a natural plate which skirts the chain of the volcanos of Auvergne. For thirty years, Colette and Bernard Teyssier have chosen this ground of meadows of stones and forests to arrange the farm of formerly.

There are several villages, in Puy de Dôme, which consist of dry stone huts.
One of these forgotten hamlets is located between Pontgibaud and the village of Banners, it bears the name of "Chazaloux".
At last century the archaeologists wondered about the age of these ruins, formed of four walls, without window, nor chimney and whose stones were coarsely cut.<br><br>For some they would go up at the time mérovingienne, for others with the time of Gallic, Romans.
These falls, squares, sometimes rectangular several meters length, extend on a surface from one ha approximately, and would be surrounded by an enclosing wall.
According to old texts (wills, sale contracts), it is probable that this city would date from the Middle Ages.
Inhabited by several tens of people, one found remainders of pottery there, keys, knives, coins dating the XIII 2nd century.
Several villages going back to this time were listed in the chain of Puys.
They seem to be deserted quickly (tools found on the spot) because of the famine, of the plague, where war.
At the XVI 2nd century, the name of "Viale Vielhe"semble to have been abandoned to be renamed" Chazaloux "by the peasants of the surroundings. Chazaloux would mean constructions in ruins.
In the department of Lozere, there are small insulated dwellings, built out of dry stones, without window nor chimney, which one call of the "Chazelles".
