A warm welcome from our family awaits you at our quiet and secluded home, in the tranquil pasture-land on the borders of Normandy and Mayenne, where our dogs and chickens live in harmony with the local cows. <br>Our suite is for your exclusive use, we never book more than one party at any one time. We offer one double and one twin bedroom, a private bathroom and a lovely lounge/diner with an open log fire. It is ideal for couples and families alike. There are tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, DVD and video players are available. It is your home from home with the added bonus of having everything done for you. A real chance to get away from it all and unwind.<br>The guests have a private garden, which is just the place for relaxing over a glass of wine during the balmy summer evenings. The children are catered for too, with swings, slide and a sandpit. <br>Our optional extras include English breakfast - £5 supplement per person - and dinner with wine - £20 supplement per person. Whenever possible we use our own free range eggs and home-grown vegetables. <br>We live in a beautiful area with interesting things to see and do. Here are just a few of them - walking, bird watching, fishing, antique and house hunting . Pontmain is a village made famous by the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the children. The huge basilica has magnificent stained glass windows, which are awe inspiring for both the believer and the non believer. Fougères boasts the largest medieval Château in Europe and was once the home of the Kings of Brittany. Its Saturday morning market bustles with people buying and selling all sorts of mouth watering delights and regional crafts. On the outskirts is a forest with a manmade lake and beach area. Mayenne itself is a pretty town built next to the river and offers a variety of cultural and retail experiences. Other nearby places of interest of Mont St. Michel, Dinan, Domfront to name but a few.<br>We are within easy reach of the Normandy channel ports. It is about one and a half hours from Caen-Ouistreham and St Malo and about two hours from Le Havre and Cherbourg. <br>We are in ideal place for a holiday, short break or stop over.<br>
