This pretty stone cottage stands in 6 acres of maintained meadow and woodland and is situated in the Department of the Lot close to the Dordogne border, enjoying a peaceful rural location. The nearby market town of Gourdon is just 9 kilometers away and has all usual facilities. Places of beauty and interest within easy reach include Rocamadour, La Roque-Gageac, Domme and Sarlat. The Dordogne river is just 6 kilometers away.
The cottage has recently been fully refurbished but retains all its traditional charms, comprising of oak beamed lounge and dining room with exposed stone walls, tiled floors and large fireplace. Comfortably furnished, also includes TV, CD and DVD system with selection of music and films.
An oak staircase gives access to the first floor..The fully equipped kitchen includes washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, gas hob and electric double oven.The ground floor shower room has separate WC and shower with external access for the pool area.The first floor continues the traditional theme of exposed stone walls and oak beams. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with shared shower room and WC.Outside there is a patio area, barbecue and garden furniture and the pool has ample loungers and chairs.The cottage has full gas central heating so is comfortable for occupation in the 'Low season' when the holiday rush dies down and the Autumn colours and Winter features all come to the fore.The cottage has it's own independent access and all facilities, including the pool, are for the exclusive use of the guests at the cottage.
Prices include all bed linen, towels(including pool) wood for the fire(if needed!). Central heating included in the Low season rate.
