Private car parking.<br><br>Aveyron <br> A charming double room decorated in shades of peach with comfortable bed, antique furniture, and a sitting area with views over the river and the ruined chateau. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, ample storage and en-suite shower room, with large shower cubicle with thermostatically controlled shower, washbasin and w.c.<br> <br>Viaur <br> Another spacious double room with en-suite shower room, with the same facilities as Aveyron but decorated in lavender and cream to match its original grey marble fire place. The view also encompasses the local Bouledrome, so you can watch the match over a cup of tea. <br> <br>Tarn and Garonne<br>On their own floor these two rooms form a suite ideal for a family or friends travelling together.<br>One room has a double bed and room for an extra child's bed and the other has two full sized single beds. Both rooms are light and airy with views over the village and surrounding countryside. The two rooms are separated by a small landing off which there is a separate new tiled shower room, with wash basin and w.c and large shower cubicle. <br><br> Breakfasts may be taken in the bright dining room, or on the balcony or shady terrace and guests are welcome to share our comfortable lounge.<br>A fridge is provided for guests who wish to purchase picnic food - and picnics may be eaten on the terrace or in the garden if required. <br><br>Outside both the terrace and balcony are equipped with tables and chairs where guests may relax with a drink or a book.<br>

Laguepie is ideally situated for touring the many splendid bastide villages of the region, the Gaillac vineyards, or simply admiring the ever changing and spectacular local scenery<br><br>.The village itself has facilities for canoeing and other water based activities, tennis, mini-golf, and fishing, and quad biking and horse riding are available nearby. There is a swimming platform and small beach on the River Viaur. <br> <br> For walkers, the GR36 runs through the village leading to Cordes in one direction and Najac in the other. For the less energetic there are strolls along the two rivers, where dragonflies, herons, kingfishers, woodpeckers and many other natural beauties are waiting to be discovered. <br><br>Najac<br>The fascinating arcaded village place leads down through winding streets to the famous chateau which sits on a hilltop in fairytale fashion. Bars, restaurants and numerous activities in summer, peace,quiet and spectacular views out of season. <br><br> <br>Cordes sur Ciel<br>Seen from the approach roads this, one of the most beautiful hilltop villages, seems to float in the sky (sur ciel). Its steep cobbled streets hide a wealth of small shops selling local produce, arts and crafts and the medieval walled village at the top is full of bars and restaurants ready to serve an appetising meal or refreshing drink. <br>A lively Saturday market takes place at the foot of the hill.<br><br> <br>Albi<br>A beautiful, old but dynamic city with something for all the family.<br>For historians, the magnificent cathedral of Ste. Cecile, the Toulouse Lautrec museum housed in the old bishops palace and the intriguing old buildings. <br>For shopaholics, the lovely old pedestrian only roads crammed with luxurious boutiques and the markets selling everything from eggs to antiques. <br>For everyone boat trips, concerts, exhibitions, museums, a motor racing circuit and restaurants and bars aplenty.<br> <br>Gaillac<br>Best known for its vineyards, where you can spend a few happy hours tasting the various vintages and choosing some to take home. The town itself is also very attractive and makes a pleasant lunch or dinner venue.<br> <br>Villefranche de Rouergue<br>A good sized local bastide town with a lively market every Thursday. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with numerous historic buildings and points of interest, it is an ideal day out.<br><br>St. Antonin Noble Val<br>Set in one of the more spectacular reaches of the Aveyron gorge this unspoilt medieval village was the setting for the film "Charlotte Gray". Eagles can sometimes be seen soaring above the surrounding cliffs and the area is an artists paradise.<br>The village is home to the local cinema where the latest films are often to be seen in 'Version Originale', and an English bookshop allows topping up of holiday reading matter.
