Built in 1777, Les Fontaines is a large country house ideally situated on the Lot/Aveyron borders, only 10 kilometers from the medieval town of Villefranche de Rouergue and within very easy reach of France’s most beautiful countryside and villages.


The luxurious accommodation is set amongst 2 acres of woodland and superb countryside, and the 12m x 6m swimming pool is bordered by mature oak and ash trees which offer welcome dappled shade during the hotter summer months.

Accommodation in the Cottage

Situated in the courtyard of the main house, the pretty wisteria clad cottage has an open plan lounge with two comfortable settees, coffee table, TV and hi-fi system, dining area with table and 4 chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, oven and hob.

The cottage has two double bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other two singles - and a separate bathroom. Electric heating in the bedrooms allows for all year round breaks.

Guests have use of the luxury 12m x 6m swimming pool (which is bordered by mature oak and ask trees which offer welcome dappled shade during the hotter summer months) and the large garden with terrace and barbecue area. The pool benefits from a peripheral infra-red alarm in order to comply with French law.

We have designed and decorated the cottage with your comfort in mind, high quality furniture and soft furnishings have been used throughout the give it a real homely feel.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

We offer luxurious B&B accommodation in the separate guest wing of the main house. There are three double bedrooms - two deluxe and one cottage style - all with comfortable double beds and quality soft furnishings.

Your delicious buffet style breakfast, for B&B guests, can be taken in either the medieval style dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden and pool.

Guests of the B&B have their own separate lounge area on the ground floor of the pigeonnier.

Coffee and tea making facilities and hairdryers are provided for your use.
