Our log house is considered a “Bio-House”, meaning that it has been built with all natural materials, most of them massive wood, finished with all natural oils, and others, like hemp, for insulation. The structure is designed after the traditional Allgäu log house, with emphasize on energy efficiency and coziness.
The views from the house are truly breathtaking! One can see clearly past the pastures, hills, and forests, to the magnificent Alps of Germany and Austria! In keeping with our philosophy of living as much as possible a good and healthy lifestyle, the entire guest house and surrounding gardens are smoke free. The interior of the guest house has been thoughtfully and lovingly designed after the fashion of a typical Allgäu guest house – Cozy, warm and very inviting.
We offer four Ferienwohnungen (vacation apartment possibilities), each named after a local healing plant. Two of them have separate bedroom/living room, all have separate bathrooms w/showers, all have complete kitchens w/eat-in dining areas, Outside terraces or balconies, Satellite TV, DSL internet connections, and can accommodate 2-4 people comfortably.
Owners are German and American and speak fluently English.

Located in the middle of one of germany´s most beautiful hiking and skiing locations, breathtaking views into the Alps from each apartment, Cross-country-skiing tracks next to the house, skilifts 5 minutes away with the car, golf course 5 minutes walking distance, hiking and biking directly from the house possible, many possibilities for swimming in the summer and indoor in the winter, 40 minutes to the castle Neuschwanstein, 2 hours to Munich, 15 minutes to Austria.
