The English owned, beautifully renovated and furnished stone house is set in a quiet corner of the traditional Cretan village of Pano Elounda. Its spacious roof terrace has breathtaking views over Elounda town, Mirambello bay and Spinalonga islands. Equipped with modern amenities, the house still retains its character and quirky charm, with old wooden shutters and doors, traditional Cretan sink and walls covered with art work and antique artefacts.
The house is furnished with a mix of British and Cretan fixtures and fittings. Good quality appliances and a fully fitted kitchen make it ideal for those wanting to experience self-catering the easy way. The house is open plan, in the Turkish manner, making it cool in summer and warm in winter. In the kitchen a large open fireplace is well stocked with wood for the cooler summer months and for hot summer days there is air conditioning both upstairs and down.
