Our beautiful and newly restored house "Anagnostis" is situated in the village of Deliana, 15 minutes by car away from the white, sandy beaches and 35km from the city of Chania. The villa is a Neo-Classical house and built in 1886. This property has been in the hands of the "Anagnostis family" for four generations. The family built the house with the finest materil of that period and the descendants have kept up this tradition and restored it carefully as so to preserve its characteristic nineteenth-century architecture. Today the historic house combines the ambient of the past with the modern facilities of today. The house offers accommodation for 6-9 persons in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with all modern facilities. The central and welcoming diningroom was ever since the family room and is filled with evidence of the familys adventure spirit and love of their beautiful island and its history. From the separate ground floor apartment with its two bedrooms and bathroom you can step out into the garden. A vast chestnut tree shades the front of the terrace overlooking the peaceful valley. The property offers 1500m2 of wonderful surroundings, plenty of trees, a beautiful pool area and a barbecue. Days are spend by the pool or visiting one of the unspoiled beaches, potteries, winerys or just enjoy nature and try one of the freshiest and healthiest cuisine in Greece.
