Green Gates Hotel is situated on a hillock in a two acre lush green property in Kalpetta, the capital of Wayanad district. Green Gates offers its esteemed patrons the ultimate in hospitality.
COTTAGES
We have 16 cottages & 4 of these are air-conditioned. Our cottages are set 200 meters apart from the central building & all of them face either the manicured garden or the swimming pool. Some of these cottages face both the swimming pool & the garden.
Each cottage has a large living cum bedroom + a front sit-out with a great view & a small room which leads to the bathroom that has the latest fixtures including a bath-tub. These cottages are designed in such a way to ensure maximum comforts to our patrons.

LUXURY ROOMS
These categories of rooms are in the central building which houses our multi - cuisine restaurant – Pazhassiraja. We have 6 luxury rooms. Luxury rooms are very spacious & have sit-outs. These rooms have wooden flooring & carry a/c. & mini bar / fridge.
The bathrooms are very spacious too & carry a bath-tub. The fixtures here are the best ones & it is true of all our bathrooms in all categories.

DELUXE ROOMS
These rooms are very cozy & can comfortably accommodate a family of 4. Half of these type of rooms have a front sit-out & the other half which do not have a sit-out are more spacious. Both these options are a win-win option. Flooring in all our Deluxe rooms is wooden. Bathrooms here meet all the norms of a 4 star hotel. We have 8 deluxe rooms.

STANDARD ROOMS
We have 4 standard rooms & the fixtures here too in both the bedroom & the bathroom are the same as in Deluxe rooms. The flooring here too is same as in Luxury & Deluxe rooms – wooden flooring. These rooms can comfortably accommodate a family of three. These rooms are mainly for patrons on a budget.

On the southern tip of India, washed by the placid waters of the Arabian Sea, lies Kerala God's own Country This land, composed of vibrant colours, is famous for its scenic backwaters, dense equatorial forests and sun kissed beaches, and is a rich treasure of India's heritage. The Western Ghats spreads this land creating an undulating terrain encompassing the beauty of nature in its myriad forms.
Within this paradise, state of Kerala lies Wayanad. Spread over the northern half of Kerala, it is a mere 100 kms. away from Calicut. Wayanad literally means the 'the land of fields'. 700 to 2100 Mts. above mean sea level, Wayanad enjoys a cool climate with the peak temperature reaching 32 degree centigrade, and the earth is softened by rain through out the year.
This magical land is abundant with thick evergreen forests, majestic mountains and many bubbling brooks. The air carries the fragrance of cinnamon and cloves and the hills are decorated with tea garden and coffee plantations studded with silver oak. All this overlooking vast plains of yellow-green fields.
Natural wonders and mist-capped mountains compete for attention. Making Wayanad the most beautiful hill station of Kerala.
PAKSHIPATHALAM :- The labyrinth of Pakshipathalam is another fascinating trek. Pakshipathalam is the abode of various exotic birds & wild beasts. This is a challenging tourist spot for any adventure-seeking tourist.
Wayanad is within easy reach of five wildlife preserves. Bandipur, Nagerhole, Muthanga, Begur and Tholpatty. These wildlife sanctuaries are home to many species of birds and wild animals. You can sight a spotted deer or a solitary tusker. Or the greatest hunter of them all - the tiger.
