Gorgeous little cottage, trullo and guest annex with a lovely pool. Wonderful situation in the hills between Ceglie Messapica and Cisternino
Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout by Gabriella herself, it has a wonderful Italian feel about it
You could not ask for a more idyllic spot for relaxing in peace and tranquillity
Accommodation
The accommodation consists of three separate units
Cottage:
Original stone floors and vaulted ceilings
Entrance to large airy sitting/dining area with many little alcoves and distinct touches, sofa bed
Nice sized country kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer and all necessary pots, plates, cutlery, etc
Double bedroom (can also be twin)
Bathroom with shower, bidet, wash hand basin and wc

Trullo (only available in July and August):

There are many colourful local festivals throughout the year and many places to visit whilst staying in this lovely location. <br><br>Alberobello<br>Somewhere you have to visit it at least once. <br>The old town is almost entirely trulli and quite spectacular, a trip into fairyland. <br>Don't miss the 2 storey Trullo Savrano.<br>Plenty of restaurants and wonderful little shops full of handicrafts at very reasonable prices. Free wine tasting in many of the shops.<br>Many of the shopkeepers invite you in to view their goods but don't be put off by this. They won't be offended if you don't buy - they are just so proud of their products and want to share them with you.<br>Great hand made woollen and linen goods at exceptional prices <br><br>Brindisi<br>At the end of the Appian Way, Brindisi was the Roman's gateway to the East .Lovely long pedestrian shopping precinct that leads down to the port. Loads of restaurants and bars including some excellent fish restaurants along the side of the port. Ferries daily to Greece, Turkey and Albania.<br> <br>Ceglie Messapica<br>Ancient Messapian centre. Once you get past the new construction on the periphery, the old town is well worth a visit, especially to seek out one of the first-class restaurants hiding away in its tiny streets. The shops are scattered throughout the old and new town and therefore are difficult to find but prices are cheaper here than in the bigger more touristy centres so it can be worth the effort. Market day is Saturday and this is a must. Outdoor Swimming Pool at the Banana Club.<br><br>Locorotondo<br>Lovely old town winding its way around the top of a hill - hence the name. Good cantina (well signposted) in the new part. Market day Friday.<br>
