A charming residence in an exceptional location. Il Sorger Del Sole B&B is a listed historic stone built country house steeped in history. It is set in over four acres of luscious gardens and ancient olive groves on a tranquil hillside. Its position commands magnificent panoramic views of the valley, distant medieval towns on hilltops and the Adriatic Sea.
Guests have a choice of two individually designed character rooms with original features (Sunflowers and Roses), each with their own entrances on the ground floor of the house.
Sunflowers has a seating area with blue leather sofa and is furnished with a double bed, fridge/mini-bar, TV/DVD player, CD system and hairdryer.
Roses has a seating area and is furnished with TV/video player, fridge/mini-bar and hairdryer.
Our 'slow breakfast' is served until 11.00am and includes fresh fruit, fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts, bread and pastries, a selection of cheeses, toast and preserves and tea or coffee.
Meals and snacks are available.

Le Marche is famed for its enchanting landscape, is a cultural region steeped in history with 100 towns and a thousand squares, 6 national parks, 180 km of Adriatic coastline with its splendid blue flag beaches, 113 theatres, 150 castles & fortresses, 250 museums & art galleries, 40 abbeys, numerous churches and of course is famous for its gastronomic delights. Marche is the land of condottieri - of popes and artists. This beautiful sparsely populated region with its warm and friendly people still remains relatively undiscovered.
Sightseeing & activities:
Il Sorger del sole with its panoramic views overlooking the Marchigiano territory all the way to the Adriatic Sea is ideally located for a mid-week or weekend break, holiday, or potential house buyers can experience a real insight into life in Le Marche. Towards the nearby medieval walled town of Cingoli there are over 12000 acres of woodlands with countless walks and mountain trails to explore. On the outskirts of Cingoli there is the largest man made lake in Central Italy which offers walking along its banks, swimming and sunbathing from its beaches, canoeing and boating. There is so much to do and see the arts, the culture, the architecture, the music , the food, the festivals, the opera, theatres, art galleries, dancing and so on.
Stay at home activities:
We keep our grass immaculately cut with our sit on mower so that you can enjoy walking around our olive groves and you can smell and almost taste the wild thyme. In the early months sheep and their lambs graze on our land. In spring there are species of wild flowers everywhere and from early summer many different species of butterflies. There is an abundance of wildlife with deer, badgers, foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels & porcupines to be seen. In the months of June/July there are luccioli (fireflies) everywhere 'lighting' your way around our ancient olive trees. To please birdwatchers there are buzzards, eagles and kestrels soaring above with hoopoe, yellowhammers, goldfinch, magpies, nightingales, owls, woodpeckers to name but a few to be seen in our garden and groves.
