The l’Antica Colonia is a charming 18th century villa, just restored with special care of details between old end modern style, in a superb setting above Lake Orta. The high standard of comfort and the familiar management make the residence the ideal place to spend holidays in tranquillity, relaxation and psycho-physical well-being.
The residence is located in Crabbia, a small and quiet village at about 3.5 km. from Orta San Giulio and is the ideal point of departure of interesting trips into nature and culture at any time of the year.
The villa is structured on three floors with completely equipped apartments that enjoy a large panoramic view on the Lake Orta and the Isle San Giulio.
The residence offers three two-rooms apartments, a one-room apartment and a separate cottage. It welcomes a total of 14 guests.
High standard of comfort: Satellite TV, independent heating ,Full Kitchen, Dishwasher, Bathroom with shower and phone, washing machine, coffee machine, dvd/cd player, sheet and covered. Charcoal Grill BBQ and fireplace. The suite has air conditioning and hydro massage shower.
Private parking is about 50 meters from the villa entrance. Meeting hall. Wine cellar. Park of 8000 mq facing the lake.

Crabbia is at about 1,5 km to the village center Pettenasco where you can find the following shops: Food, Fruit and vegetable, Breadm Ham and cheese and also Newspapers, Pharmacy, Post office and Cash-point dispenser. Restaurant – pizzeria at about 500 metrs from the villa.
Individual means of transport is desirable to take advantage of the many activities and excursions are available:
Winter sports (Mottarone)
Trekking (for example: Monte rosa, Cascate del Toce, alpe Devero, Val grande), Mountain Bike (as an example the reduction of the Mottarone or from the Massone mount or in the paths of the ossolane valleys)
Fishing (Ponte Bria)

Not to forget the many historical treasure like Orta S. Giulio with her 500 th villas and palaces or the sacred art.
