Our Cabbiavoli Chianti farmhouse can trace its history back to 1210, when it was a castle built along the important Via Francigena that connected France to Rome through Tuscany.
Today, the castle's various buildings have been transformed into holiday farmhouse accommodation in Tuscany. The barns, for example, have been completely restored to become separate farmhouses, each one divided into apartments rich in historical charm as well as providing modern comforts such as satellite TV and a dishwasher.
The Chianti farmhouse apartments are nine, each with its own independent entrance and heating systems. The apartments have been elegantly furnished in order to retain all the "old world" charm of their Tuscan tradition while keeping them comfortable to make you feel at home. The apartments have a beautiful vista over the Tuscan countryside, facing onto the Chianti hills covered with vineyards, olive trees and sunflowers.
The farmhouse accommodation also has a large swimming pool, garden, table tennis, and several other areas to share among guests. All apartments are: 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living-room and kitchen, equipped with independent heating system, wooden fireplace, satellite TV, dishwasher and independent private open space, with dining table and chairs. The apartments were carefully restored and elegantly furnished to maintain untouched the charm of their ancient Tuscan style. The carefully selected furniture was chosen to make you feel at home.
The modern kitchens are fully equipped with all appliances, including refrigerators, freezers and dishwashers.

About 30 Km from Florence, Cabbiavoli's castle, built on the ancient Via Francigena connecting France to Rome, is a leading example of many ancient influences. The castle's history commences in 1210, when Counts Alberti di Certaldo built Caput aulae, the centre of Val d'Elsa's court.
Within this scenery, the barns part of the ancient court, represent the ideal location for people wishing to spend a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The 9 apartments were recently renovated to include all modern appliances while maintaining the traditional Tuscan charm. Each apartment is equipped with independent heating system, wooden fireplace, satellite TV, and dishwasher. The Agriturismo's shared facilities include a large swimming pool (6x12 m), a garden, table tennis, barbecue, children recreational area and access to a shared washing machine.
