Near the town of Cortona, "Monastero S.Silvestro" is a sprawling farmhouse with marvelous panoramic views of the Chiana Valley and the distant mountains of Umbria. The main farmhouse has been divided into 5 apartments, each decorated in traditional Tuscan style. The property accommodates 28 divided into the FIVE apartments, all very spacious and very comfortable. In "Monastero S.Silvestro" there is a main hall with wooden flooring, excellent for banquets, meetings or workouts, with dressing-rooms, showers and a kitchen complete with fireplace. The property has extensive gardens and a large, well-kept swimming pool. The area is furnished with tables and chairs and equipped with a barbecue and oven. Monastero S.Silvestro is near Florence, Rome, Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Urbino, Lake Trasimeno, Chianti and other typical Italian towns. Many cultural activities take place in Cortona, for example the Show of National Market of Ancient Pieces of Furniture (last week of August/first week of September), the Tournament of Archidado (May), the National Fair of copper (April), theatrical activities and concerts throughout the year which take place in open-air gardens in the summer months, and many more activities. We must not forget the summer courses of scientific specialisation at the Superior School of Pisa in the Palazzone (princely villa of the XVI° century).

Apartment Tuscany: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, sleeps 4+2
Description: Apartment Tuscany is situated on the 2nd floor with a stunning view over the Val di Chiana. It has a kitchen /sitting room (1 double sofa bed) and a stone fireplace. There is one double bedroom plus another bedroom with two single beds. This apartment has air conditioning which can be utilised at an extra cost

Apartment Rosellae: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6+2
Description: It has a kitchen/living room (1 sofa bed), a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower, another double bedroom and one bedroom with 2 single beds. There is another bathroom with a bathtub.

Apartment Corito: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathtub, sleeps 2+2
Description: Apartment Corito has a kitchen/living room with original unplastered stone walls and an antique stone fireplace (+ double sofa bed) .

Apartment Fesulae: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with bath, sleeps 2+3
Description: It has one double bedroom, kitchen / living room (3 sofa beds) and a stone fireplace and original unplastered stone walls. It also has direct access to the covered terrace (Loggia).

Apartment Florentia : Specifically designed and furnished to accommodate disabled and/or elderly persons. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, living area with kitchen corner (sleeps 4+1) <br>Description: At ground level, this apartment has an independent entrance from the garden, it was originally the monastery's wine cellar and still retains its original arches and beams. Although it is ideal and practical for elderly and disabled persons, it had no major architectural changes done, it retains its original charm. The two large bedrooms and the living area, where eventually another bed can be added, are comfortable and well kept.
