Datura Villa is a five bedroom, fully staffed, private vacation destination that is located just seven miles from the Montego Bay airport in the town of Reading. The villa sits 500 feet above sea level, on nine private acres, and affords spectacular views of Montego Bay and its islands.
Originally built in 1930 by the editor of The New Yorker magazine, the villa has the amenities of a fine hotel and yet offers affordable luxury, privacy, and close proximity to all tourist activities, nightlife, and the airport.
Within the house is a high-ceiling, grand living room with mahogany floors, a library, bar, TV room, antiques, a screened-in dining room overlooking the aquamarine waters below, and a modern commercial kitchen with pantry, ice maker, two refrigerators, and blender.
The large terrace, which is ideal for day- dreaming and viewing stars at night, overlooks the large swimming pool and hot tub. Also on the grounds are a tennis court, tropical gardens, bird-watching, and fruit trees of Mango, Orange, banana, coconut, lemon, allspice, ackee, nesberry, papaya, and breadfruit.
Within short distances, there are several beautiful beaches, 5 excellent golf courses, SCUBA, Para-sailing, plantation tours, bird watching, river rafting, horseback riding, waterfalls, spa treatments, shopping, dining/dancing, nightclubs and a casino.
Included in the rental price is a full staff consisting of a housekeeper/cook, maid(s), caretaker/gardener, and our property manager/concierge.
Complementary guest laundry is provided as well as fresh linens and towels.
This is the perfect spot for families, honeymoons, weddings, and groups of friends to relax and play.

Cancellation Policy for Vacation Villa:
A full refund is given if cancellation is received at least sixty days prior to arrival. A 50% refund is given with less then 60 days notice but greater then 30 days. No refund is available when cancellation occurs with less then 30 days notice from scheduled arrival, and for holiday weeks.
