The Akumal Dive Resort has on site facilities - Aquatech Dive Centeer offering Scuba Dive Training at all levels. Reef, Cenotes-Cavern Diving and Cave Diving are all available in the beaches around Akumal. You don't need to be a diver to enjoy the salt-water coral reef or the crystal clear cenotes. Snorkelers of all ages can easly explore our surrounding water systems with just a mask, snorkel, fins, and buoyancy vest.

Just in front of the condos from 3-7 feet deep, you will find a fabulous fringing reef full of ocean life. In the lagoons and inlets, you will see the freswater mix with the ocean water foran array of tropical fish life and calm waters. In the jungle's fresh water cenotes, you encounter a different look at the snorkeling world, to enjoy the view of the spectacular decorations made by mother earth herself. Whichever activity you choice for the day, you will surely have lots af fun.
