Breakaway Retreat is a beach front guest house in McLeod Bay, Whangarei Heads. With its stunning location, excellent facilities, and spectacular sea views, Breakaway Retreat makes an ideal place for a self catering holiday for the family or a romantic retreat for two. No crossing the road to get to the beach. Two kayaks to use during your stay.
A great place to go kayaking, fishing, water skiing, diving, sailing, windsurfing, coastal walks or just relaxing on the beach soaking up the sun. There are a number of boat ramps nearby for launching small runabouts or sailing vessels. Once you have launched your boat you can then anchor your boat in front of Breakaway Retreat for easy access during your stay
Breakaway Retreat accommodation is a purpose built 2-bedroom self contained guest house, with open plan living, fully equipped kitchen, king-size bed, 2 single beds, 2-person spa bath, shower, laundry, 2 kayaks and lifejackets, BBQ, heat pump and wrap around decks to relax in and enjoy the spectacular sea views.
Tea, coffee, sugar, soap, shampoo, washing powder provided.
Linen, changed every third day.

Peak season (1 Dec to 31 March and holiday weekends) is $290 per couple and $45 per additional person.
Off Peak Season (1 April to 31 November excluding holiday weekends) is $250 per couple and $45 per additional person.

Cancellation Policy:
Our cancellation policy is that where cancellations are received up to 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded within the 30 day period will result in the deposit being non-refundable within 7 days will result in full payment.
Property Rental Deposit Required:
To confirm a reservation a 25% deposit of the total stay or a current credit card number is required as a guarantee. Nothing will be charged to your credit card unless cancellation penalties arise.
