This gracious home was completed in 2008 and is situated in the middle of a 1.1 acre (5000 square meter) lot. There are wonderful views of the mountains surrounding El Valle, particularly Cerro Gaital, and the Rio Anton flows through a wooded area along the entire back of the property. The house combines traditional Panamanian design with contemporary comforts and functionality. The garden is relatively new and is being developed, but is very pleasant and provides the opportunity for morning strolls around the grounds. Many birds visit the garden each dayand ducks and geese often can be seen swimming in the river.
The house contains 202 square meters (2,100 square feet) and the covered terrace adds an additional 50 square meters (538 square feet) to the living area. The house includes:
* Master bedroom with queen size bed, large closet, and master bath with air jet (Jacuzzi style) tub and shower.
* Guest bedroom with private bath and shower, closet, queen size bed and two bunk beds for children.
* Large main room (sala) opens on to the terrace and includes a fireplace for cool nights or very humid days
* TV/stereo/music room that opens on to the sala.
* Large roofed terraza with brick barbeque and views of the river and mountains.
* Spacious open kitchen
* Laundry room
* Total of four baths with shower (one is for the maid).
* The owners private office and storage area are not available for use unless special arrangements are made in advance.
* Air conditioning: bedrooms, tv/stereo room, and office have ‘split’ air conditioners. In general, El Valle is mid- to late in the day but is cool in the evening and mornings so air conditioning is not generally needed for most or all of the day.
* Internet access – high speed DSL and wireless throughout the house.
* Direct TV (satellite) service with 32” Sony Bravia TV and DVD player.
* Stereo/CD/Radio system
* Well equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove, separate KitchenAid electric oven, and accessories. Developed by the owner who likes to cook and bake!

Rental Rates
Vacation Home with Mountain Views Rates:
The following rates include all electricity, water, garbage pickup, and water. Maid service to clean the house once a week is also included. Additional maid service for cleaning or cooking can also be arranged for an additional fee.
Rates:
One week: $975
Two – three weeks: $880 per week
Four or more weeks: $750 per week or $3,000 per month.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation: The entire deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled one month or more before the reservation begins. Half the deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled less than two weeks but more than seven days before the reservation period begins. After that time, the deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled.
Deposit Required:
A $950 dollar deposit is required to make a reservation. This deposit is fully refundable if there is no damage to the house or property and the reservation is not cancelled.
