This newly constructed/furnished Lagos holiday apartment offers wonderful seaside views, and is conveniently located next to nearby beaches, the Marina and historical town centre. Lagos has an intriguing blend of the old and the new. The area's favorable weather, great food and many attractions make it a perfect vacation destination.
The large, beautiful Meia Praia beach is just a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the apt. This white sanding beach stretches for miles and does not become overcrowded even during peak summer months. Restaurants are located along the beach for purchase of food and drink to go, or you can book a table and enjoy your meal overlooking the sea. If you prefer smaller beaches with picturesque coves and steep seaside cliffs, then try nearby Praia D'Ana or one of the many other beaches the Algarve is famous for.

Also walking distance from the apt is the Lagos Marina which offers numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. This is a great place to relax and take in all the local sites. Not far from the Marina is the historic and lively town centre which can be reached by walking across the Marina foot bridge. In the town center you will see the Moorish architecture, historic buildings and the centuries old city walls. You can stroll among the narrow cobblestone streets looking for traditional or modern shops, take in an historical tour or sample food from local and international restaurants. Make sure to visit the town centre in the evening when it comes alive with open air stalls, colorful street entertainers and talented artists displaying their work. The night life also includes bars and night clubs that stay open until late.
The activities in Lagos and surrounding area are varied and endless. There are several golf courses in the area. Water sports include sailing, jet skiing, fishing, water skiing, diving, wind surfing, para sailing and scenic boat tours. There are cinemas, outdoor concerts, water theme parks, historic forts, coastal drives/vistas and arts/historical exhibitions. If you want to see more of the Algarve you don't have to travel far by car or train to explore other nearby places worth visiting such as Praia De Luz, Portimao, Albufeira and Vila Moura which has a casino.
