Location: This beautifully restored farmhouse with pool in the Algarve is situated only 5 minutes drive from the un-spoilt market town of Loule yet is just 30 minutes from Faro airport and 20 minutes from beaches and golf courses.
Notes: Children over 12 welcome. Daily maid service, except on weekends and holidays. The house has central heating (floor heating on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor). Pool heating upon request and at extra cost. The nearest international airport: Faro Airport. Detailed description: This farmhouse is very comfortably furnished, with pieces of antique. It is set in a quiet location and still only three kilometers from the un-spoilt town of Loule in the Algarve with its picturesque centre and market. You will enjoy the typical Portuguese setting of an old orchard of about 9000 sq. mts. (one hectare) with mainly almond trees, interspersed with the occasional olive, fig and carob trees. You will also find oleanders, bougainvilleas as well as cactus and succulents on this exceptional property, a rustic setting which offers a breathtaking panoramic view over land onto the coast and sea. The old building, an open to the roof construction with wooden beams and bamboo, consists of a study with fireplace, hallway, kitchen with modern amenities, dining area with ensuite winter lounge with an antique French sandstone fireplace and adjacent summer lounge. Extensive outside traditional calzada terraces, with steps leading down to the pool (11x5 mts) area, which has its own terrace and barbeque. New extension, built in the original style, consists of two bedrooms on the ground floor (two individual beds per room), each with its ensuite full bathroom, and a large master bedroom suite (king size bed) on the first floor with balcony and its own full bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Each bedroom has its own entrance that can be locked separately. All doors and windows, throughout the house, have inside shutters keeping the house relatively cool in summer. Floor of traditional terra cotta tiles, except the first floor which has a teak wooden floor.
