Apartamento Azul is a modern, extremely spacious and tastefully furnished Praia da Luz Apartment right in the heart of the lovely family resort of Praia da Luz.
This Praia da Luz apartment has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people plus cot.The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and dressing area and its own private sea facing balcony. The second bedroom is a huge twin bedded room with ample space for an additional 2 beds to be used if required for a larger family (2 folding beds supplied). There is a second, 'family' bathroom off the large entrance hall.
The lounge/dining room is huge, light and airy and has balconies to front and rear aspects. the front balcony is sea facing and the rear overlooks the pool and has a BBQ and table and chairs.There is a sofa-bed which can be used to sleep 1 or 2 people instead of the folding beds if wished. The lounge also has satellite TV and DVD, CD,radio,casette and a large dining table. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted with large fridge/freezer, washing machine etc.The main living/dining room and both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.

From Praia da Luz it is a short 10 minute drive into the larger more cosmopolitan town of Lagos which is widely recognised as one of the loveliest towns on the Algarve with its old walled centre, marina and bayside promenade. It also has several lovely beaches. Lagos has a lovely pedestrianised town centre which is wonderful for a lively evening stroll, with stalls,music and street entertainers. Slightly further afield, but still within a 30 minute drive are the south westerly point of Europe, Cape St Vincent and the historic nautical town of Sagres.
Praia da Luz has several small supermarkets and a variety of other shops and boutiques. There are numerous bars and restaurants which range from beach bars, through bistros and cafes to sumptuous restaurants. Luz has a chemist, doctor, banks and post office etc. There is one small disco on the sea-front.
The beach in Praia da Luz is sandy and approximately 1km long and backed by a promenade.At the eastern end at low tide there are lovely rock pools and at the western end there are large areas of flat rock for those who like to lie or sit by the sea, but avoid the sand! The sea here tends to be fairly calm with only small waves and the beach is ideal for children.
