The accommodation has a private entrance. A small hall leads to a large open-plan kitchen/living-room with views over the garden to the loch.
The kitchen is fully equipped including oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, tumble-dryer, toaster, food mixer, iron, ironing board, and washing service.
The living area has a maple dining table and chairs, a sofa bed, easy chair, and a feature-fireplace. There is WiFi Internet access, Satellite T.V., DVD player with a selection of DVDs, iPod, radio/CD-player, a good choice of books and toys, plus lots of tourist information about this area.
Upstairs, the double-bedded room has panoramic views of the Gareloch and is furnished with an antique four-piece suite. It has a hairdryer, radio/clock/alarm, and television.
The adjoining bathroom has over-bath electric shower, constant hot water, shaver point, towels, and a selection of toiletries. A cot, or a single futon, is available. We provide all bed linen, plus towels, tea-towels etc.
The accommodation has gas central heating.
Outside, there's a patio with table and chairs, a large garden, and ample off-road car parking space.
We are a no smoking establishment.
We welcome well-behaved dogs (sorry, no more than one dog) who bring their own beds, and are not left alone in the property. There are lots of good places for dog-walking in this area.
On your arrival, there will be fresh flowers and a tray with homemade cakes to welcome you.

Garemount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland. We're on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, adjoining the Loch Lomond National Park, within an hour of Glasgow, Stirling, the Trossachs, and Inveraray. Shandon Country Pursuits (clay-shooting, quad-biking, archery, fishing) is nearby, as is the Clyde Submarine Base. Helensburgh has two railway stations, interesting independent shops, Rennie Mackintosh's masterpiece The Hill House, restaurants, golf, sailing, tennis, bowling, putting, and swimming.
