A 19th century cottage which has been tastefully restored and upgraded in 2005 with very high quality ensuite bath and shower rooms and antique and reproduction furnishings. A peaceful South facing garden with the Water of Leith running past. Country views and wildlife, yet public transport from our driveway to the city centre in 25 minutes. Close to Heriot-Watt Universi ty, Rosslyn Chapel, Playhouse Theatre and all Edinburgh's visitor attractions which are easily accessible by bus.
Rooms all have tea/coffee making facilities, TV, DVD and cable TV, central heating, hairdryers, bath robes, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries, fresh flowers, magazines, books and DVD films in several languages. Breakfast is included in the price and we are the only five star Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Edinburgh. We have five stars from the Scottish Tourist Board and the Automobile Association, with a special commendation for our breakfasts. Our feedback tell us that our hospitality, helpfulness and friendliness is our best feature.
