Rooms Description
The lounge has a cottagey feel with high ceilings, deep window ledges and an alcove with local books and maps. There is also a multi-fuel stove. The kitchen is well equipped in a shaker style and is bathed in sunlight for the afternoon and evening. There is a separate porch which is great for storing muddy boots and clothes. There are two bedrooms, a kingsize master bedroom with ensuite and a twin room with zip link beds. The spacious family bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
Specialities
WIFI internet access is available. We can provide a cot and high chair. Children's games and toys are also available. Unfortunately we cannot cater for pets. We also have a second cottage available, Valasay, which is located in a Marine Special Area for Conservation and National Scenic Area. See our website for further information.

Our house is located in an excellent area for walking, with a way marked circular coastal walk leading from your door to the magnificent beach at Bosta where in 1996 archaeological excavations revealed the site of an Iron Age settlement. Elsewhere in Bernera, other walks you can enjoy are to a Norse Mill or to an iron age Broch at Loch Baravat. For the more energetic, sea-kayaking can be enjoyed from the shore at the bottom of the drive, giving access over to Uig and the beautiful islands in between
