The village of Iznajar is a typical white-washed Andalucia village with a hilltop position overloking the lake. The area is ideal for fishing (carp, barbel, black bass, eel ad trout), walking, golf, cycling, horse-riding or just relaxing and enjoying the mangificent views.

Ideally situated and gives easy access to all the cultural highlights of Andalucia - Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Antequera, Malaga and the Costa del Sol. Just 50 minutes from Malaga airport and 40 minutes from Granada airport. Skiing at the Sierra Nevadas is just an hour and a half away and golf at Antequera is just 30 minutes.
The village has lots of small supermarkets, banks, chemists, bars and restuarants. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants within 10 minutes of the villa including a bistro with great fillet steak and a fantastic Italian restaurant. The famous La Bobadilla Hotel is only 10 minutes away with its three restaurants. Great trout at any of the restuarants in Rio Frio.

There are hipermarkets in Lucena and Antequera. Antequera is a beautiful city with plenty of shops and a large weekly market.
