17th century Catalan farmhouse situated in a beautiful plain. It is peaceful and secluded, yet only a 3 Km drive to the nearest small town of La Bisbal d'Emporda, with shops, bars, and restaurants. The views from the house are unspoilt, out over the fields that surround it, and on to the hills of the Gavarres mountain range.
Fully restored with all modern conveniences, the house still retains its rustic charm, with characteristic stone walls, vaulted and beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. The rooms are large and airy, with antique furnishings. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans.
The large, well maintained Mediterranean garden has a floodlit pool, patios for sunbathing, reading etc. and a poolside open air dining area with barbeque The owners who live nearby, take care of the pool, garden and proper functioning of the house. They are on hand to help or give advice if needed.
Indoors: Fully equipped kitchen with grill, dish washer, fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave. Sepatate utility room with washing machine & overhead drying rack, iron and ironing board; tv, satellite or cable, DVD. Central heating. Ceiling fans. No phone but good mobile phone coverage.

Cancellation Policy:
In the unlikely event of a significant change or cancellation of your booking by the Owner, we will inform you as soon as possible. If requested and if available we will try to arrange alternative accommodation of a similar type, price, standard and location. Alternatively, we will refund all monies paid by you. Any cancellation by you (for whatever reason) must be in writing. (This may include e-mail or fax). The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive written notification. If you cancel 6 weeks or more prior to your arrival at the property you will lose your deposit. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before your arrival at the property or the booking is cancelled due to your non-payment, the Owner shall be entitled to the full cost of the holiday from you. We will endeavour to obtain a replacement client for the Owner. If a replacement is obtained, we will then refund all monies paid by you, less any difference between the price you paid for the property and the price paid by the replacement client. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges. Claims must be made direct to the insurance company concerned
Deposit Required:
The initial payment required to secure a reservation is 30 percent of the total rental price. The balance must be paid not less than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to your arrival at the property. Any security deposit required should normally accompany this.
