The accommodation at Barberyn Reef consists of 75 rooms, the majority of which have been newly rebuilt. The others have been which have recently renovated / refurbished.

The Garden and Beach are clusters of rooms in several blocks - some on stilts and some on two levels (ground floor rooms and first floor rooms). All rooms are beautifully furnished with furniture made at the resort by the Barberyn carpenters, and have mosquito nets, attached toilets (shower or bath tubs) natural ventilation and electric fans, a terrace or balcony. Only a few rooms are air conditioned as most guests prefer natural ventilation which is recommended in Ayurveda.
Over the years the resort has achieved the prefect balance in providing the level of care and comfort necessary for guests to enjoy the well being that comes from within. Located on Sri Lanka's south-west coast, 85km from the International Airport, Barberyn Reef is a beautiful property with a long sea front sheltered by a natural reef running the length of the property forming a natural swim lagoon. It is one of the few resorts that can be described as being literally "on the beach" with a garden setting. Sand stretches for miles along the shore and guests now have the choice of swimming in a wave shaped large swimming pool adjacent to the ocean.

Price of full board accommodation and Ayurveda treatment covers the following:

1.Full board accommodation - breakfast, lunch and dinner, morning and afternoon tea/ or fruit juice.
2.Initial Ayurveda consultation with physician and subsequent consultations.
3.Ayurveda treatment as prescribed by the physician which usually includes the following daily therapies.
o Freshly made herbal decoctions
