With stunning views to Rabbit Island in the bay of Gundogan, we offer a very comfortable villa, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished with facilites that have something to offer for the whole family. The turquoise blue Olympic sized pool is the largest one in the Peninsula with a neighbouring toddlers pool. You can spend the whole day here lazing on the sunbeds and having cold drinks and snacks from the pool-side café. Underneath the pool is a market, open long hours, selling bread, milk, water, wine and raki etc (all essentials) and providing for your daily needs. If you fancy something different, go down to the beach bar and laze on large colourful cushions and watch the waves breaking on the rocks. This is a great place for snorkelling where you enter the sea from the jetties.. Sit at the beach bar and watch the sunsets…
The villa has 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms which all have a wonderful sea view. The lounge and dining area are open plan and very spacious with plenty of seating and a TV for entertainment. There is also an open fireplace in the lounge for the winter months. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you need to rustle up a meal for family or friends. The lounge has 3 sets of out doors opening out onto the terrace with a barbecue and looking out onto the Mediterane. There is plenty of seating on the terrace to sit and relax and take in the beautiful sea view.
The villa is furnished to a very high standard and has plenty of wardrobe space in every bedroom. All bed linen and towels are provided.
The complex is built in a "village" style with roads and paths and beautifully maintained gardens. There is also 24/7 security for your peace of mind.
There is a complimentary shuttle which takes you around the complex, and also into Gundogan to the open market on Wednesday. There is also a free minibus to the local supermarkets.
Public transport is available from just in front of the villa into Gundogan (every 2 hours) and then on into Bodrum.

Bodrum has been described as the St Tropez of Turkey and it's easy to see why when you visit. It is a hilly peninsula with some of the most spectacular scenery, turquoise sea, quaint fishing villages, bustling towns, colourful markets and of course a perfect all year round climate.

One of the most sought after areas on the Bodrum Peninsula, Gundogan offers everything for a truly relaxing holiday whilst also being only 20 minutes from Bodrum, the "international playground of the rich and famous". Bodrum itself is full of history and charm and is a "shoppers paradise". Wander leisurely along the marina, or visit one of the international restaurants, or haggle in the bazaar for a bargain, catch the Ferry to Kos, or just sit in a cafe and watch the people, Bodrum has it all!
Gundogan remains very undeveloped and "Turkish". The are about 8 restaurants on the front with jetties jutting into the sea, where seafood is a speciality and some small bars and cafes and a few traditional Turkish restaurants within the village. Cows meander through the streets and graze on grass verges. There are a few shops but the pace of life here is slow, the people friendly and welcoming, the perfect place to get away from it all and just sit and "chill".
Gundogan is perfectly placed as a base for touring the Peninsula. No where is more than 30 minutes drive away, many foreigners have bought villas here and it also makes an ideal starting point for house hunting on the Peninsula.
Gundogan – or Farilya and meaning “sunrise” is a charming Turkish village that has changed little over the years. Bougainvillea spills over houses and walls, the orchards are full of fruit which can be found on sale at the side of the road. This is the real Turkey, English is spoken but tourism only plays a small part in village life. The village is self sufficient and has a community in winter and has not turned into a “Burger King and Beer” location.
In summer the visitors return and are welcomed with great hospitality and friendliness by the local people. You will not feel a stranger here, but more a friend to be welcomed.
Gundogan is a centre for watersports and boasts a wide selection of activities for all ages and abilities.
Perhaps something a little less energetic? A lazy day boat trip skippered by a qualified captain taking you to 5 beaches and coves leaving from Gundogan harbour. Or horse-trekking through the mountains on the outskirts of the village.
Enjoy the long sandy beach in Gundogan, where you can take two steps from your sunbed into the warm waters of the Aegean. Spend the day down here, having hot corn for lunch and an evening meal of locally caught fish in one of the speciality restaurants built on jetties at the water’s edge.
