Howard Creek Ranch is an historic, 60-acre, ocean front farm; bordered by miles of beach and mountains on the beautiful Mendocino Coast. The Ranch offers farm animals, award winning gardens, fireplaces/wood stoves, a 75-foot swinging foot bridge over Howard Creek, hot tubs, on-site hiking, and access to a German masseuse and horseback riding on the beach or in the mountains.
A full ranch breakfast is included in your stay. Vegetarians are gladly accommodated.
Accommodations include cabins, suites and rooms furnished with antiques, large comfortable beds, and handmade quilts with views of the ocean, mountains, creek or gardens. Wireless Internet connection is usually available for your computer.

Breakfast is a hearty farm meal with fresh juice, omelets, bacon, sausage, hot cakes, fried potatoes, grits, and baked apples with granola and whipped cream. Coffee is strong and early. Tea is available anytime. Menus change daily. Vegetarians are gladly accommodated.

There is plenty to do in the area and at the ranch. A Hiking Trail is available onsite, as well as our award-winning garden. Relax on the beach or go tide-pooling as we have direct access to the beach. Just 2 mi. north of the ranch is the Sinkyone Wilderness, featuring the Lost Coast; filled with 1000-year-old redwoods.
Other options include horseback riding on the beach or in the redwoods, take the famous Skunk Train, shop in the village of Mendocino, or just relax in scenic splendor.

Cancellation Policy for B&B:
If notice is given seven (7) days prior to the day of arrival or we can rebook your room, you will get a full refund minus 3.5% of the deposit. If you cancel within a week prior to your reservation, and we cannot rebook your room, you will be charged for the full amount. Refunds will not be given because you realize upon arrival that we are an old farm, in an isolated country location. People with severe moisture and cat allergies probably should not reserve.
