Nestled amongst the trees, surrounded by herb and flower gardens, we are an old fashioned, romantic getaway, just up the street from the finest beaches in America. 11 distinctly different rooms all with private baths. 4 of these rooms are in the Hibiscus House, and there are 5 more in Bert's Barn, our Woodepecker Cottage is located in the courtyard area and our Hibiscus Luxury apartment is located next door in our newest addition to the Inn. All are simple yet comfortable, and furnished for that old Florida guesthouse feel. Includes breakfast in our cafe. If a ten minute walk to the beach is too much, its just a couple minutes by bike. Children are allowed. Smoking in outside common areas only. Pay for 5 nights get 2 free. Bicycles provided for guests. One full handicapped accessible room. 50% deposit required at time of reservation.
Or if you'd prefer to stay around the coffeehouse, you could hang out on the porch overlooking the gardens, kick back in our library with one of our used books or come into the coffee house for one of the best cups of coffee you've ever sipped. Our rooms each come with a king or queen-sized bed, cable TV (if you care) and private bath. Your room also comes with a breakfast for two in our cafe.

The village of Grayton Beach (home to Hibiscus) is a 1/2 mile stretch tucked between Grayton Dunes State Park to the west and Grayton Beach State Recreation Area to the east. Grayton Dunes is a largely undiscovered area of windswept dunes overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf.<br> Grayton State Recreation Area, named America's best beach a couple of years ago, is truly awe inspiring and surrounds Western Lake.<br><br>Deer Lake State Park<br>If you like nature, wildlife, deserted beaches and lush vegetation, you'll love Deer Lake. This recently-named state park is largely untouched and is the kind of place you can get happily lost.<br> <br>Two miles to the east of Grayton Beach is the award winning town of Seaside. (This is where The Truman Show was filmed).<br>If you like art or architecture you won't want to miss this favorite place.<br>Although all of Seaside is remarkable both conceptually and architecturally, our favorite part of Seaside is Ruskin Place Artist's Colony. It includes not only several galleries where you can peruse and purchase a variety of original art, but an outdoor theater where concerts, performances, and other gatherings often take place.
