Enota is in a lush valley among the highest mountains in North Georgia, in the shadow of Brasstown Bald whose elevation is 4780'! All the delicate beauty of nature has been preserved, with four breathtaking waterfalls, five bubbling streams and two trout ponds. We are surrounded on all sides by the mountains of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Enota is the perfect mountain escape for you to spend your weeks, weekends and vacations with your friends and family.
A 2 bedroom Cottage with separate bathroom's. This quaint space has 2 double beds and 2 full bathrooms complete with showers. It comes complete with a fully equipped modern kitchen with a small refrigerator, toaster coffee maker, and all of the china, glassware, pots & pans and cooking utensils. You can cook your own meals or just relax and let us do all the cooking for you. The gas log heater keeps the cabin warm and cozy when you come in from hiking to the waterfalls or animal feeding areas. Enjoy your meals out on the deck overlooking the stream and the majestic Appalachian Mountain Range for a romantic evening. As with all our Cottages and Cabins, this Cottage has its own porch and fire ring. Due to our altitude, the numerous trees on the property, and the abundant amount of water, the Cottages stay cool in the summer with no need for air conditioning.

Enota is a resort with several cabins located in a lush valley among the highest mountains in North Georgia, in the shadow of Brasstown Bald whose elevation is 4780' but close to Hiawassee! All the delicate beauty of nature has been preserved, with four breathtaking waterfalls, five bubbling streams and two trout ponds. We are surrounded on all sides by the mountains of the Chattahoochee National Forest. One of our streams flows from a beautiful two-stage waterfall that is nearly 400 feet tall while another cascades 125 feet from an old stone dam that retains a small, clear pond; a perfect place to relax, reflect, and enjoy nature. Paths from long ago wander about the Resort and into the forest. Follow one of the old logging trails (approx. 1.5 miles ) right up Clay Gap, to the Appalachian Trail which is just above Enota Mountain Retreat Center and Sanctuary.<br><br>On a cold evening, drop by the beautiful old restored Lodge, enjoy a cup of hot cider, and share the warmth from the huge stone fireplace and relaxed atmosphere created by living so close to nature. On a hot day, drop by to enjoy the cool refreshing flow of gentle waters and soothing ponds. Get to know friends you've never met or spend quiet moments with loved ones!!

Up to eleven days before scheduled arrival, the 50% deposit is transferrable to another date.<br>Three to ten days before scheduled arrival, loss of the 50% deposit, with balance transferrable to another date.<br>Forty-eight hours before scheduled arrival -- NO CREDIT.
Deposit Required for Mountain Cabin:
A 50% Non-Refundable (but Transferrable to another date) deposit is required to book your cabin reservation with the balance due and charged to your credit card ten days before arrival to guarantee your site or cabin.<br><br>
