The Samuel Fitch House is a historic saltbox colonial with a long and distinguised history. At one time, the house was used as a tavern where local Committeemen held meetings concerning the Revolutionary War. The original house consists of five fireplaces around a central chimney, behind which is the smokeroom. There also remains part of a tunnel that was used as a portion of the Underground Railroad. During the long history of the house, many facts and stories have been passed down. Placement on the National Register of Historic Places is pending.
Due to the age of the B&B, smoking is not permitted in the buildings. Amenities such as small pets, washer/dryer use, car, gym access, VCR, CD players may be available. Please contact us for more information.

Rates include a full country breakfast each morning of your stay. There are no additional taxes. Smoking is not permitted in the bed and breakfast.
