The unspoiled beaches in this unique wildlife preserve are also home to the famous wild horses of the Currituck Outer Banks who have survived nearly 500 years of fierce Nor'easters and hurricanes. They are truly representative of the Outer Banks spirit - untamed and rugged - and are an integral part of what draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Northern beaches every year.
SeaGypsy has 1400 square feet of ocean-side decking and every bit of it directly overlooks the ocean. You are literally 75 feet from the beach.
Seagypsy has 8 master bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, dining seating for 20 and over 5050 square feet of living space. Let incredible ocean views mesmerize you by day and incredible star filled skies inspire you by night.
We run a Friday to Friday week in order to save you wasted hours in the weekend traffic. The entire island (400,000+) turns over on Sat & Sun and is funneled into 2 roads. You'll coast in on Friday, do your shopping and be hanging around the pool while the other 400,000 are stuck in traffic.
No mansion would be complete without an elevator making every floor wheelchair accessible. Exercise in your private pool, relax in your hot tub over-looking the beach, or enjoy the first floor theater and game room with wet bar & full kitchenette.
Our wild horse herd helps make Seagypsy one of the most unique properties on the Eastern seaboard. Away from the hustle and bustle of the in-town resort areas our Northern Beaches offer a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Seagypsy is only steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Unobstructed ocean views for miles in every direction places the very best the Outer Banks has to offer at your feet. Our home is located only 6.5 miles north of Corolla in the four-wheel-drive territory but is less than 18 minutes from a grocery store and shopping complex offering unlimited shopping, restaurants, bars, golf and a movie theater.
A 4WD vehicle is required to reach SeaGypsy. To get there you drive right on the beach. There are no paved roads in this unspoiled and pristine beach area. This is one of the reasons this area is so popular for vacationers.

Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your reservation, we will attempt to re-rent the home for you. To do this, a $75 (plus tax) non-refundable Cancellation Fee and your written authorization must be received first. Once your entire reservation is successfully re-rented for the same amount as your Vacation Rental Agreement with confirmed payment, your rent amount paid (less non-refundable fees) will be refunded. The Travel Insurance payment if purchased, ARDI and reservation fee and cancellation fees are not refundable. If the reservation does not re-rent, full payment is due.
Deposit Required:
Upon booking a reservation, a Vacation Rental Agreement (VRA) will be emailed requesting payment of the reservation fee (plus tax), optional Travel Insurance and one half the rental amount. ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED BY ABOVE PAYMENT AND A SIGNED VRA RECEIVED BY KITTY DUNES RENTALS WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE RESERVATION BEING MADE. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to check-in must be paid in full and mailed via two day mail service. A $75 nonrefundable reservation fee (plus tax) will be charged for each reservation. The balance payment for your stay is due 30 days prior to check-in and may be paid with personal check, money order, certified funds, cashier's check or credit card. Payments for reservations made less than 30 days ahead or balances received less than 30 days prior to check-in MUST be made in the form of money order, certified or cashier's check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DATE. All balances must be paid in full PRIOR TO check-in. NO Funds accepted at check-in.
