Our Vacation Home at Lighthouse Beach is located near the fishing village of Charleston, Oregon about 10 miles from Coos Bay. It is located by the ocean just 1/4 mile from Sunset Bay State Park. There are steps down to a semi-private beach. We have a view of the ocean and lighthouse from a large living room, kitchen, master bedroom and deck.
Our home is a single level ranch home with a gas log fireplace in the living room. It is fully furnished with queen size beds in both bedrooms, and a hide-a-bed for sleeping up to 6 people. Linens and towels are furnished. The fully-furnished kitchen is equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. There is a TV/VCR in the living room, and TV's in both bedrooms, all with cable hookup, wireless internet access and telephone with free calls anywhere in the US. There is a two-car garage with a laundry room that includes a washer and dryer. We have crab rings available to catch Dungeness crabs in the Charleston bay.

Our home is located close to Sunset Bay State Park, Shore Acres State Park, Bastendorff Beach County Park, Cape Arago State Park, Charleston Marina, Simpson Park, Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Sunset Bay Golf Course, and the Mill Casino in Coos Bay There are three world class golf courses within 20 miles - Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes and Pacific Trails. All three golf course are rated in the top 10 in the country by Golf Digest.

Our summer rate is $1,295 per week (Sunday-to-Sunday) from June through September.<br>Our winter rate is $175 per night, excluding holidays, with a two night minimum and a $300 refundable security deposit. We offer a special weekly rate of $995 from October to May, excluding holidays.

Cancellation Policy for 2 BR Oceanfront Cottage:
A cancellation fee of 15% of total rental will be charged for reservations cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival date. No refunds will be made on reservations cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival date.
Deposit Required for 2 BR Oceanfront Cottage:
A security/cleaning deposit of $300 is required at time of making a reservation. It will be refunded within 14 days after departure, less any damage, breakage or extraordinary cleaning charges. It is expected that the renter leave the house clean and ready for the next renter.

What a wonderful way to spend our 40th anniversary. The home is very comfortable and the views are breathtaking! I would love to do this vacation again!
