2 bedroomed cottage sleeping up to 4 converted from small barn some years ago and set in its own delightful garden with fabulous views to the surrounding countryside. Perfectly placed to explore The Wye Valley, Vale of Usk and Forest of Dean and cities of Bristol, Bath and Cardiff all within an hour by car. Recently decorated throughout it has one double bedroom, the other single with plenty of room for comfortable fold up bed. Spacious lounge furnished with Antiques and a woodburning stove. Carpeted and centrally heated it has a very traditional homely feel. A fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Off road parking for 2 vehicles. Linen and towels provided. Small extras include a pair of binoculars to view the wildlife that visit the garden, outside tap for washing off those walking boots and bikes, paperback books, maps and walking guides.

By virture of its location it is ideally suited for all activities and historical sites that this area of Wales has to offer having easy access to road and rail networks. Many festivals, Abergavenny food festival in September is considered to be one of the best in the UK, 2 Michelin star restaurants, Castles of Chepstow, Caldicot and Raglan. Magnificent Tintern Abbey, Caerleon Roman camp, Lord Nelson Museum in Monmouth, a wealth of footpaths including Offa's Dyke National Trail and Wye Valley Walk. Golfers would be spoilt for choice, the Celtic Manor host to Ryder cup 2010 is less than 25 minutes by car plus many others to suit all abilities. Racing at Chepstow racecourse where the Welsh Grand National is held plus many many more, fishing, riding, mountain biking, canoeing to name but a few.
