Cyclades islands Vacations

The Cyclades are a group of over 30 islands located in the Agean Sea between Greece and Turkey. The Cyclades Islands are perhaps some of the most well known Greek Islands. They were created from an underwater mountain range and have a rugged hilly landscape that presents amazing views over the Aegean Sea. Only 33 of the 2000 islands are inhabited. Cyclades originates from the Greek word Kyklos, which means circle. The Cyclades islands surround Delos, an island which was a Panhellenic sanctuary and also the birth place of Apollo and Artemis. For beautiful bare rocky islands lined with white villages perched on the hills overlooking beautiful beaches plus a rocking nightlife; the Cyclades is the place to go. The most popular islands within the Cyclades are Mykonos and Santorini islands.
