GEOGRAPHY OF SANUR VACATIONS
Sanur is a small coastal village located on the southeastern beaches of Bali. Traditional fishing boats line the harbor and off in the distance you can see the island of Nusa Penida. The beach is relative narrow, lined with umbrella and with trees that divide the sandy beach area from the village. Should you decide to explore the village, there is a paved beachfront bicycle path that runs 5 kilometres and is perfect for walking or biking. If you more inclined for adventurous activities, then try windsurfing or paragliding. For a lazy afternoon indulge in floating along the beach in a banana boat. Sanur is also the location where you go to plan your dive outings as almost all the dive operators are located in this area. The town also has the “Pura Blanjong Temple” which tells the story of arrival of the Java King in the 10th century.
