This little stony village, completely renewed and restructured, which dates back to the XIII century as sighting posting (with some buildings added in 1700), is part of a farm cultivated with cereals, vineyard, sunflowers and olive trees. It is located in Umbria, among the wonderful views of the hills nearby Todi (in the Perugia province), with a 350 meter height above sea level, approximately midway between Florence and Rome. Arts locations, medieval villages and natural beauties can be easily reached from this place (Orvieto, Spoleto, Assisi, Gubbio Foligno, Perugia, Trasimeno Lake, Marmore Falls, Bolsena Lake) which have made this part of Central Italy famous all around the world.

It is located in Umbria, among the wonderful views of the hills nearby Todi (in the Perugia province), with a 350 meter height above sea level, approximately midway between Florence and Rome. Todi is perched on a tall two-crested hill overlooking the east bank of the river Tiber, commanding distant views in every direction.
In the 1990s, Richard S. Levine, a professor of architecture at the University of Kentucky, chose Todi as the model sustainable city, because of its scale and its ability to reinvent itself over time. After that, the Italian press reported on Todi as the world's most livable city.
In Umbria the fortified medieval hill towns are rich in art, history and architecture, and many are relatively untouched by tourism. Gubbio, Spello, Todi, Spoleto, Deruta, Orvieto — all are unique and worthy of a visit. Perugia, the capital, is one of Italy’s best preserved towns, with a strong artistic and cultural tradition.
