Todi is a hill town located in the Perugia region of Umbria. The town rises up above the forest below and overlooks to the west the Tiber River. The Piazza del Popolo, the towns main square was built during the 13th century and houses the city's main art gallery. The town has several Palazzos or Palaces that were built in the 13th century. Todi is also surrounded by a series of walls, the first and inner wall was built by the Etruscans, the middle wall is Roman and outer wall is medieval.
